Celtic knots and horse make for a beautiful pairing for this necklace. Horse bridle rosettes are said to originate in ancient Egypt to decorate a child or woman's horse bridle. They were also used by the U.S. Calvary in simpler forms made of bakelite or silver. The rosette is a domed glass, or paperweight style, with a brass or base metal back. Most rosettes are 75-100 plus years old. Made by Serendipity Designs by Susan. Chain measures 18 inches in length and is adjustable.
